Summertime Blues was successful.  Pictures below by Ines and/or Angelika Kausche or Jennifer Ball.  Hopefully, some more of Sorette will be coming.  Dressage at Lexington is coming up July 13-15.  Paxton, Ebella, Sanibelle, Wonder, Thaddeus, Watson, and Sorette will be going from the Karver Stable group... so far.

Welle is back under saddle and doing very well moving at a first level quality at this point.  Walking in the hay fields is great but no trotting or cantering out there yet.

Summer is upon us and every week of the summer has a working student scheduled.  There is no longer anymore availability this year.

Wonder and Sanibelle are signed up for Summertime Blues in Pinehurst.

I enjoyed "Amerika" the mechanical horse at Raleigh.  Although the programming is unfortunate in part, it was great to see a mechanical answer to straightness and weight bearing issues.  I didn't love these parts of the program/coaching:  the rein aids were much, much too strong, the leg aids were also required to be too prolonged and firm.  And no thigh aids at all.  Posting was not addressed at all, which is very unfortunate because that is one of the biggest areas needing work in a person's early seat development that I see out there.  I see more un-harmonius posting than harmonius.

And... I couldn't resist posting this super cute pic of Angie on Thaddeus at their first recognized show together.  It could only be better if he had all his red ribbons dangling below those huge perky ears!  Great, fun show!!!
