                                                                             The Barn

Picture
The barn is designed with ingenuity for health and well being.
It has a 14 foot wide center aisle with brick pavers and safe, attractive lighting.
The stalls are 12x12 with ceiling fans, floor mats, and Dutch doors or windows.
The wash area also has floor mats, hot and cold water, ceiling fan, and bright lighting.
The tack room is heated and well lit.  It has a ceiling fan, hot and cold water, a wash machine and a bathroom.
There is excellent ventilation (convection cooling engineered for the hot Southern summers) and drainage throughout.
A circular driveway provides easy access for trucks and trailers.
The overall layout is designed for fly control and mud control also.

The sand riding arena has rubber added.

The sand riding arena is surrounded by shade trees.  The design is visually open with a six inch wooden border that rises to a 3 foot wall on the North side.  It is the standard competitive arena size: 20x60 meters.  It has good drainage and sturdy traffic areas to and from.  High quality outdoor speakers provide music.

In February 2011 Surefoot rubber was added to enhance the arena.  A half inch layer of recycled rubber particles was mixed into the river sand footing.

Pastures and paddocks have shade and shelter.

A seven acre lake provides ambience and wildlife.

The farm has fields and hills where horses are regularly conditioned and trained.  Also, cavaletti and gymnastic jumping is an available tool for all.
